Issues w/ uploading media in blog migration

  My web designer is trying to export my blog and install it in my website. He is getting a bunch of ‘failed to upload media’ error msgs. Please advise what can be the problem.
  I have a 53M interspace-design.com.tgz file, do you know what is it and can I delete that?
