Issues when posting to Facebook

    When posting a link either directly to the site or sharing a link from our Facebook page, we are given the following message: ‘This post can’t be shared. In response to Australian government legislation, Facebook restricts the posting of news links and all posts from news Pages in Australia. Globally, the posting and sharing of news links from Australian publications is restricted.’ This is an odd finding, as New Transcendence is not based in the US, nor are our servers hosted there. Is there something in our settings that is suddenly causing this? Facebook is a good portion of our reach when sharing articles so having that taken away is a huge blow to our site.

    The site new-transcendence.com is not hosted on WordPress.com, so we can’t really help.
    I would suggest contacting your host first to make sure where your servers are located. Then, I’d reach out directly to Facebook for more information.
