Issues with connecting via FTP / Making a custom site’s theme
-
Greetings! I’m relatively new to WordPress.com.
I’m trying to migrate from an unsupported CMS and to edit the site’s theme by using a pre-existing template, to do this (as far as I know, the best solution is to connect via FTP) I needed to get a business plan and to change the domain to a free one.. I don’t know if I will be able to change to the previous one with the custom theme enabled and I don’t know now where exactly should I go to make FTP credentials and to enable the FTP connection, the AI assistant insists to go to Tools/Hosting but there is no such section.
I’m at a loss on what to do here, could you please be so kind to help me? Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

SFTP is only available on the Business Plan and higher – https://wordpress.com/support/sftp/
Making a WordPress theme isn’t that simple. Instead why don’t you take a look in our theme repository to find a suitable theme; it will save you hours from work – https://wordpress.com/themes

Greetings @staartmees
As I’ve already mentioned I already have a business plan.
I’m a developer looking to connect via FTP and I’m planning to learn how to make a custom theme.
Please remain on this topic, I don’t know how to connect via FTP, thanks in advance.
