Issues with creating a 'New Post'

WHAT IN THE HECK DID YOU DO TO ‘Create a New Post’???????
Half of the modules missing, first kept opening new preview pages with <p> showing, then couldn’t preview, can’t publish. Just a piece of crap. Have been almost a hour just trying to post 6 lines and a already uploaded pic.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m sorry you’re having trouble. We did update quite a few links to point to our new editor. However, please keep in mind that the old editor is still available. You just need to access it by clicking “Edit” underneath a post here:

I will go and give me feedback, there are some things I’d like to say :))

Problems encountered with ‘New Post’ page
• The ‘beep beep bop’ goes on forever as if loading Flash or something. Not all of us have access to high speed and why it is loading Flash or something similar to it, do we need it to write copy and upload an image?
• Found out today how to open the 2nd of modules – Whew!
• ‘Most Used Tags’ doesn’t exist any more. Only ‘Existing Tags’ in alphabetical order.
• No suggestions come up from ‘Existing Tags’ when typing new tags. Drag. Nothing to help to save from typing more.
• Wrote today’s blog using the ‘Old Version’ page and then wrote another for tomorrow, using the ‘New Version’ page. Using the ‘Publish – Schedule’ for 8:30 tomorrow. Gave me no indication it received or will post. Guess I’ll have to wait and see.
• Yesterday, the ‘Preview’ button stopped working and when it did work, instead of changing the already open ‘Preview’ page, it would open another one. Today worked fine. So I’m thinking you corrected?
• Yesterday also, the ‘Publish’ button at the bottom wouldn’t work. Worked today – GREAT!!!

I’ll address each of your concerns here as well. Please keep all future comments to the thread above. We’re combing that thread for sticking points regularly:

Quite a few individuals have expressed loading time issues. Could you let me know if you experience the same issue across all browsers or just in your main browser?

You’re correct; the “Most Used Tags” function isn’t in the new editor. We’re looking at some improvements that will make the new editor much faster when sifting through a ton of tags. Two main thoughts here:
- A field that autocompletes similar to the old editor
- Using the keyboard to zip straight to the start of a specific letter and then choosing from the list.
Any thoughts on what you might prefer?

Notifications and wording are two other areas we’re working on. We’re also experiencing some trouble with scheduled posts. I don’t see a scheduled post currently. Could you reschedule it from your Dashboard here?

We’re constantly making improvements now that bugs are being reported so hopefully!
