Issues with Domain Name

    Hello

    I wanted to buy a new domain name. But I have sent out resumes with my old free domain name. I am worried if I buy a new domain, people won’t be able to access my website.

    Hi there! Just to check, was the free address http://suyashsakhare.wordpress.com/ ? When you purchase a plan and apply a new domain name to be the primary address your site, anyone who types in your free address will be redirected to the new domain!

    I had a quick look at your site; do I understand correctly that your site is intended as an online portfolio/resume of your work? If so, then I could possibly suggest the Personal plan! It removes the adverts from our advertising network, and it lets you set a custom domain as the primary address (as noted above). It also gives you some extra storage space for any photos you’d like to show off! And of course if you find in future that you’d need a different plan, you can absolutely upgrade.

    When you buy a new plan, it comes with the offer to register a domain name for free, so in the first year of the plan, the domain cost is covered; and when it’s time to renew, the domain is a separate charge.
