    TO-BE

    A. I purchased a domain from wix.
    B. I created a website on WordPress.
    C. I want make when users access to domain (in A), they should be able to access my website (in B).

    AS-IS

    A. I mistakenly transferred domain from wix to wordpress.
    B. My original basic domain in wordpress (xx.wordpress.com) was gone.
    C. Now my only domain in wordpress is broken.

By the way, I am using Business plan but it seems I cannot access to contact support (Live Chat or Email), the send button is disabled. Anyone knows why?

    Hey there, 2b1foundation!

If I understand correctly, it seems like you’re looking to make changes to your domain setup. Specifically, you want to reverse the transfer of your domain from Wix to WordPress.com and have it point back to your website on WordPress.

Now, depending on the status of your domain transfer, there’re a couple of options to address your needs. If the domain has successfully arrived in your WordPress.com account, I suggest making it your Primary Domain to fix any issues with the broken domain. You can find step-by-step instructions on how to do this here.

On the other hand, if you’ve reconsidered and would like to transfer the domain back to Wix instead, just follow the instructions provided here to complete the transfer smoothly.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or encounter any challenges along the way.

    Cheers!

    Hi there!

Since the domain has been transferred to us already, you won’t be able to transfer it back for 60 days. However, as you wanted the domain to load your WordPress.com site anyway, you can activate the WordPress.com nameservers on the domain. This way, your visitors will see the WordPress.com site when they go to the domain, and it will work as you originally intended.

Please click here and then click Name Servers → Use WordPress.com name servers. Within 72 hours of doing so, the domain will start loading your WordPress.com site.

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.
