Issues with Importing Tumblr Blog

The blog I want to import used to have a custom domain which I have removed and connected to my wordpress. But when I go to import the tumblr blog it still says that it has the custom domain.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am afraid you are in the wrong forum for your query.
It is likely your site theusafrican.com is likely to be using the open source WordPress software. Getting to https://wordpress.org/support will help you find both the support and documentation for the version of WordPress you are using. Alternatively, you can take this question directly over to the WordPress.org support forums:

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, the WordPress.com forums (where you are posting now) will be unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue.

That other address is the custom domain I mapped to my WordPress blog.

Thank you for confirming the above information. So to be clear the site you need a Tumblr import is for https://theusafrican.wordpress.com and the custom domain that was mapped to it was theusafrican.com.
All Tumblr import related queries for WordPress.com sites are requested to be tagged for staff members. The reason being they will be able to look into the backend and recommend the further steps.

I can see that you linked theusafrican.com with your premium plan and domain mapping but the process is not finished. The name servers on theusafrican.com are still pointed to GoDaddy. They need to be pointed to WordPress.com. I think this will fix your issue.
See step #2 here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/The Tumblr and WordPress.com accounts will both need to be authorized so you can use the Tumblr import tool.
