Issues with Incorrect A Record

I have recently paid for domain mapping to transfer my domain from Wix to WordPress and am having issues with the A Record. I have added the “NS1.WORDPRESS.COM” and the “NS2.WORDPRESS.COM” into the CNAME spaces in Wix but I am still getting an error message.
Can you help me understand what I am doing wrong? Thank you so much!!

Hi there,
You shouldn’t have to update the CNAME or A Records. Please just update the nameservers to:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

Unfortunately, I am unable to edit the name servers when I try to manage and edit my domain information. I’m not really sure where I go from here since Wix seems to be making this a little bit more difficult than I had anticipated this process being.
Honestly, I’m not really sure what I need to do from here. Any feedback would be appreciated!! Thank you!

Unfortunately, I’m not sure what to do at this point because the only changes that can be made to your domain are from Wix’s end.
Can you have Wix return to the default settings? and remove all custom records? And from that point, just update the nameservers to us. We’ve had many users who have moved from Wix to WordPress.com so I know it’s very much possible.
