Issues with latest version of Firefox

  I recently downloaded the latest version of Firefox and now I am having trouble viewing my home page, reader and dashboard. They appear as a long list of text on the left side of the screen with no images. Also having trouble viewing posts on other WordPress pages. The only thing that seems to function is the support, news and features tab. Tried clearing cache, enabling cookies, and updating all programs like flash player. WordPress still functions normally when I use Internet Explorer.

  According to http://browsehappy.com/ the latest stable version of Firefox is 34 right now. Can you confirm that is the version you’re using?

  I’m using Firefox 34 too, and I tested https://wordpress.com/ as well as some other WordPress.com sites, and everything worked for me as expected. I am using a Mac.

  Also, do you have any browser add-ons installed that might be interfering?

  Yep, looks like I’m using Firefox 34, any recommendations of add ons that may cause problems? I actually don’t see any add ons at all. I’m using a PC.

  About add-ons, I have heard of AdBlock causing trouble for people because sometimes if blocks things it shouldn’t. Other than that, any add-on that affects your view of webpages could cause a problem like you described.

  Here are a few more troubleshooting steps you can try:

  Clear browser cache and cookies:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

  Try adding wordpress.com and wp.com to the allowed sites in your browser and in your firewall software if you have any.

  Try an alternate browser. If it works, then the issue is with the browser settings.

  Try an alternate computer if you have one in the same location. If another computer works, then the issue is computer settings on the first one.

  Try an alternate location. If it works, the issue is with your local network.

  I tested your home page at https://ashleyespicer.wordpress.com/ and the page looks properly formatted to me in Firefox. I am using Firefox 34 on a Mac. Here is a screenshot of what I see: https://cloudup.com/cj_xeT3owWc
