issues with mobile themes

    Something seems to have broken at least two of my mobile themes. I had been using the Truly Minimal theme and it’s responsive layout was working perfectly as the mobile theme. I noticed today though my site was showing up on mobile very wide requiring lots of horizontal scrolling. I even turned the default mobile theme back on and got the same result. I haven’t posted anything new that could have broken the theme.

    Hi there!

    First let me tell you that I just spent much longer than I should have reading your site! Great stuff!

    Next, I took a look at it on my iPhone on a couple of different mobile browsers and right now at least it seems to be working fine. The width is conforming correctly to my screen size, etc.

    Are you still experiencing the problem? If so, what OS and browser are you using? Let me know and I’ll see if I can replicate it!

    Hi! Thank you for the compliment, I really do appreciate it. Maybe it will actually motivate me to hit my deadlines.

    As far as the issue goes, I am still having the same issue. I’ve only been able to test it on Android but it was on two different phones and two different versions of Android. One way the Note 2 running 4.2.1 (I think) and the other was the S4 running 4.2.2

    Here’s a couple of screencaps of what I’m seeing. One is with my Truly Minimal theme (which used to work) and one with the WP.com default mobile theme.

    Thanks for providing that information! I clearly don’t own an android, so I had a peer take a look at it on their phone and they immediately saw what you were talking about!

    I’ve put this in front of our theme department, though they are currently in the middle of a conference, so it may be a few days until they get a chance to take a look at this issue. As soon as they have any additional information, I’ll get in touch!
