Issues with Putting Data-Pin-Description Code into Image Gallery
-
Hello,
We need help placing the data-pin-description code into the images when we use the WordPress Gallery on our site, for Pinterest pins.I need the description of a Pinterest pin to show when someone clicks on the “Pin It” hover button of the pin. I have figured out how and where to place data-pin-description=”description” code in my Text Mode screen and it works perfectly when there is just one pin on a post. Pinterest pulls the description from the data-pin-description code.
However when we use the “Create Gallery” tool to create a gallery of Pinterest pins, the code is completely different in Text Mode. It only seems to point to the pins ID’s. I just want to know what code to use and where to place it to allow descriptions for images in the gallery.
We are using WordPress Classic Editor. We are not using Gutenberg. We decided to go Guten Free!
We are also not very techy, so we need simple instructions.
Thanks a million,
