Issues with Twitter Widget
-
Hello,
I have configured my Twitter widget in Twitter as directed in guidelines. I have entered my ID number as well in WordPress but all I am seeing is the title for the twitter widget that I created and a line of text that says ‘My tweets’.
On the twitter config. page, they have two lines of coding we are supposed to put in the post editor I think it mentions… but I am not doing any posts …. I am using the site as a portfolio. What am I doing wrong? The tweets aren’t showing up.
Tips?
Thanks!

Are you referring to the Twitter timeline widget?
What is your Twitter username in the form of an active link starting with https:// ? -

Okay I located it and see the issue. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

You haven’t tweeted anything since June 27 so I assume that the widget displays cached data and will update when you act on that.

Hi there,
I took a look at your widget and your Twitter ID number looks a bit short. When you went in to create your Twitter Widget at twitter.com, are you sure you grabbed the whole number? It is usually 18 or so characters. The one which you have entered is 10. If you could double check, that may be the issue here!
Thanks in advance.
