-
Hi,
We’re having issues with updating the site, making new changes, and adding blogs. Everytime we do that for our marketing strategy. The website breaks by removing all of the javascript and images from the live site.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out with your question.
Since your site, aligned4lifewellness.com, is hosted on WordPress.org, this issue falls outside the scope of our usual support. For further assistance, you can reach out to your hosting provider or ask for support in the WordPress.org forums.
That said, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue where your website breaks and removes JavaScript and images after making updates:
Check for Plugin Conflicts:
- Disable all plugins and then enable them one by one to identify if any plugin is causing the issue. Sometimes, plugin conflicts can result in scripts and images not loading correctly.
Theme Compatibility:
- Ensure your theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. Update your theme to the latest version, or try switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One to see if the issue persists.
Clear Cache:
- Clear your site cache, browser cache, and any caching plugins you might be using. Cached versions of your site can sometimes cause display issues.
Check File Permissions:
- Verify that the file permissions on your server are set correctly. Incorrect permissions can prevent JavaScript and images from loading properly. Your hosting provider can assist with this.
JavaScript Errors:
- Use the browser’s developer tools (right-click on your site and select “Inspect” > “Console”) to check for any JavaScript errors. These errors can provide clues about what is causing the issue.
Review .htaccess and Configuration Files:
- Ensure your .htaccess file and other configuration files are not blocking scripts or images. Sometimes, incorrect rules in these files can cause such issues.
