Issues with wordpress.com and wordpress.org account

    We have a website that is hosted through GoDaddy on wordpress.org. However, we had some hosting issues and they are saying they lost all of our content. However, when I log in through wordpress.com or use the wordpress.com mobile app I can see the blog post content. Is there a way to connect the two of them?

    Hi there,

    The content you see on our end and in the app is likely just cached content, but we don’t have a full backup of your content that we can restore. We only keep full backups of your site if you’re on a paid Jetpack plan, and it looks like you’ve only been using the free version of Jetpack.

    If you didn’t keep your own backups, and GoDaddy doesn’t have backups of your content either, then there might not be any way to get all your content back.

    In that case I’d recommend you try copying anything you can access through our interface and the mobile app, and else you can see if the Internet Archive at web.archive.org might have current snapshots of your site so you can copy your content from there.
