Issuu plugin to embed Issuu publications

  Dear Sirs,

  I think it would be useful to have the Issuu plugin installed in order to embed and display ISSUU publications in blogs at wordpress.com
  The plugin is available at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-issuu/ and it works wonderfully.

  Agreed! Was actually about to type up the exact same thing when I found someone had beat me to it. Glad to know I’m not the only one who wants this!

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install any individual plugins into them Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  If you wish to have complete control over a blog, the ability to upload themes and plugins, and to edit themes and templates then your option is to hire a web host and get a free software install from WordPress.ORG and self host it.

  We should be able to embed Issuu documents as easily as we can with Youtube

  I’m not looking for a plugin. I just want to be able to do what I can already do with Youtube and Slideshare. I would think the same arrangements should be possible for Issuu.

  Adding my vote for official Issuu support. But in the meantime, I’m grateful to Panos and TSP for sharing the work-around. You guys are great! We accepted a musical score for publication with no idea how we were going to present it, until I remembered Issuu. The Issuu embed using Panos’ technique looks great on the draft post.
