It has erased all my enters!
-
Something must have gone wrong.
I have been writing a blog post and it just WILL NOT put in enters (a normal blank line, not two, not three, just one). I have been trying to put them in manually with a command, and that works for a second, but as soon as I edit something else, all the manually put in BR’s will be gone.
Also, I just noticed it has erased the enters from previous posts I wrote, as well!
It seems it has not done it to all my posts, but this is an example of a post it has removed all the enters from:
Also, it has done this with most of the posts I have still ‘hidden’ to release at a later date.
When I write in the normal editor (not the HTML one), it will not accept any of the enters I put in. Hence I did it manually with all my posts. But that will not work anymore either.
I read that WordPress should make up paragraphs and blank lines for me in a ‘smart way’ but it doesn’t do this unless I’m overlooking something. It just puts all the text in one huge block without any blank space at all.
Something must have gone wrong, or I have changed the settings by accident?
Thank you so much for your kind advice.
Lynn

Edit each problem post: select all, select Paragraph from the Format tool (row 2 tool 1), switch the editor to HTML and back to Visual, click Update.
For future posts, always make sure the Format tool is set to Paragraph before typing. -
You have been a great help, thank you so much for saving my keyboard from meeting the window. :)
