Welcome to WordPress.COM You might want to take a minute to read some of the entertaining support documentation http://support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
If that doesn’t explain, please give us a direct link to the Post itself.

The short of it is your Posts only show up on your Posts page. Pages are independent and static and for all intents stand alone.
Take a minute to read the support document which explains it in much more detail.

Ah, you did read it. So now you understand the difference.
Posts only go to the Post page.
If you want to write static information, like an About Page, or a Contact Page, that is what Pages do.

Ah, this is you? http://nnwars.wordpress.com/ Then one more thing before I log off (it’s past my bedtime).
You can use Categories on your Posts, like “N-Wars”, and then it will show up in the Categories Widget in your sidebar. People interested in reading only that Category will click on that link in the Widget and a special Category Page will be created on the fly that contains only the Posts that you have assigned the “N-Wars” Category to.
I am sure that was clear as mud, but just do a little reading in the support documentation and it will become clearer.
