  The blog says “no comments” even though it shows them. Looks really weird.

  Where is your blog please? Will you please post a link to it?
  Do you find comments here -> Manage -> Comments that are not accounted for?
  If so perhaps your problem is the same as this one https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=19232

  See this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=19232&page&replies=29#post-146587 . It’s a known problem and staff is working on it, but it’s being a persistent (and stealthy) bug.
