  I’m trying to migrate my blog that i use to use http://www.empiredesignevents.com/blog

  to my new website business: http://www.iamanagicel.com but Showit the platform im using is having trouble migrating. would you please assist me with this matter. They say the account doesnt exist (they are having trouble locating the account.

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid we’re not able to help with this: you’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and neither of those sites are hosted with us, so we don’t have any control over either of them.

  You have empiredesignevents.com connected to your account with us via the Jetpack plugin, but it’s built using the open source version of WordPress made on WordPress.org, and hosted at another provider.

  If Showit does a migration from their end and requires your account credentials, you need to give them the credentials for the admin user account for your site that you use to access the WP-Admin dashboard. That’s not the same as the details you use to log in here on WordPress.com, but is the username and password that were set up when you first installed WordPress at your hosting provider.

  If you’re not sure what those credentials are, please contact your hosting provider directly for help resetting those.
