It would appear that I have accidently requested an upgrade. How do I let you know?

    I do not need an upgrade,I may have accidentally touched a wrong link.

  • Hi, I don’t see any upgrades purchased on this account. If you’ve got a cart waiting for checkout, you can just remove those items as needed.

    Or, if you’ve got another account with an upgrade on it, and you need help with that, please log in as that user.

    I have attempted to remove the demand for payment but there is no way of doing so on the the demand for info about how I intend paying for what I was not even aware I had apparently asked for. How do I annul it?

  • I’m not sure what you’re speaking of. We don’t send invoices or demands for payment on WordPress.com. To upgrade you add a plan to the cart and complete checkout immediately. If you don’t complete checkout, i.e. provide your credit card details and click the Pay Now button, you aren’t charged, and the upgrade isn’t added to your account.

    If you’re speaking of the notice saying your cart is awaiting payment, that’s not a demand for payment. That’s simply a reminder that you selected an upgrade and haven’t completed the checkout process yet. If you click the View Cart link in that notice, you’ll be able to remove the upgrades you’ve added to the cart.

    Thank you for your response. I’m not very tech savvy but I did take a good look to find a way of responding because I actually have no means of paying anyway. I have no cards or pay pal. I posted a tale on another platform. I don’t even know what it was, but they published it and apparently they wanted to pay me by Pay Pal and I had no way of responding to that either and then the wordpress demand turned up and I was totally stupified.
    If I can’t manage to do what you suggest it will be OK to just ignore will it?
