It would be nice if I could log-in easily

  When I go to wordpress.com , then click the log-in button at top right, I’m redirected to the same page. All that changes in the address is https: to http. If I click Log-in again, the redirect switches from http: to https.

  In any case, no log-in dialogue appears.

  And yet the log-in worked quite well when I came to the support site, so, for the time being, I have a work-around.

  Still, I can sign-up for a new blog to “get started,” but I can’t log-in easily to continue. What gives?

  What browser and version are you using? IE 9 users are reporting problems, and the solution is to update.

  It is up-to-date. Next Firefox update is due with v32 release on Sept. 2. Nothing new until then (except beta).
