Italic in the title

Hello,

I would like to have certain words in a post’s title in italic. Could you help me doing it? If it is relevant, my blog uses the theme Twenty Twelve.

Thank you for your quick reaction. The words I would like to have in italics are part of a post that is scheduled for Oct. 23d. I don’t know if it is possible to work on it before it is published.

Can you give me the post title and the word you need in italics?

I can work out the custom CSS for you and once the post is published we will need to add a custom CSS selector to target only the the new post.

I really don’t like saying this but I don’t think it is possible to get it to display exactly the way you would like.

As a compromise may I suggest: Tic-up, Tic-down

Thank you for your help, g471n and for the time you took to do it. If it is impossible to have the words “up” and “down”, I will just leave it the way it is then. I am afraid the compromise you suggest won’t work for this title.
