Italics not working in Adelle theme

Hello forum friends,
Italics are not working in the Adelle theme. I’ve tried changing the theme and italics work in Bueno, Twenty Twelve and Twenty Thirteen. The italics show in the post editor, but not on the published post when using the Adelle theme. How can I fix this?
My blog is currently set to private.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The italic style of Adelle’s “Muli” font is very subtle.

I see a few places in your posts where italics are being used and correctly display. If there is a particular place where this is not the case, could you please take a screenshot and upload it to your media library?
