Items on contact form appear in a different order in e-mail I receive. WHY?

    I’ve built an application using the contact form. On the e-mail that I receive when someone submits the form, The 6th item on the form appears as the 3rd item in the e-mail. Not a huge problem, but the sequence on the form is a logical order and so reading the e-mail is ”out of order” and a bit confusing to those who review applications. I tried moving the out-of-order item to a different place, saving the form and moving ti back to the same place….no change.

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having these issues with your contact form! I’ve been creating contact forms on my test blogs and trying to replicate the issue but haven’t been able to. The only thing that I can think to try at this point is to try changing the contact email address on your contact form over to my email address and to continue testing that way.

    Would that be something which is OK with you? As soon as I’m done testing I’ll revert it back to pointing towards your address, of course!

    Also, I wasn’t able to find your specific contact form (except for the simple one on your contact us page). Could you please include the URL in your response?
