Hi. I’ve started using itheme2 and the featured post carousel part is working fine but all the posts in which I’ve featured image, is showing the same image twice in the blog page. Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you inserting the image in the editor as well through the ‘Insert Media’? That is one possible thing I can think of that would cause that.
-
No I’m clicking on the “set featured image” at the right side of the blog page and then selecting the already “uploaded image in the blog”
-
I’m posting the link of one such featured blog

Your site sounds like fun. However, I have a heads-up for you. On my screen, the “Blog at WordPress.com. | The iTheme2 Theme.” statement appears in white on a white background and can’t be read without highlighting it. If that was done on purpose, you are violating your “Terms of Service”:
“11. Attribution. Automattic reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com,’ theme author, and font attribution in your blog footer or toolbar. Footer credits and the WordPress.com toolbar may not be altered or removed regardless of upgrades purchased.”

By the way, I am using the browsers Opera 12.6 and Firefox 23.0.1, if that makes a difference.

So, yes, you are inserting the same image twice.
and then selecting the already “uploaded image in the blog”
If you change the featured image is it still showing two of the same?
I have a blog on .com that I tried and can’t seem replicate it by just setting a featured image alone.

@baskcabinetry- thanks for the info but it is hardly of any use and I haven’t changed their toolbar, I’ve just started using this theme and changed my background to white as it suited the blog. It will be helpful if would provide information about the topic.
@jcasta thanks for the help but the problem is if I don’t put the picture already in the blog as my featured image then at the featured blog section in the front page these images won’t show up.

Thanks everyone. Please don’t post anything else. I will find some better way to counter my problem.
