iTheme2 CSS questions

    First, I would like to center my site title. I’m not sure what I’m missing, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I have been able to center the site description with no problem, but I have it currently restored back to its left alignment until I can get the the title centered.

    The other issues are with my navigation menu. The first would be to remove the vertical divider from the last menu item (The Daily Post) so that empty spot on the right end disappears. Second, I would like to change the white background on the submenu (children?) items under The Daily Post (Daily Prompt, Blogging 201) to the current background color of the main menu. And lastly, I would like to indent, to the right, those submenu items.

    I am willing to donate all my virtual lollipops to the orphans of the web if you can assist me with these cosmetic changes that are driving me insane.

    Hi there!

    Sure! Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS in your Dashboard and add the following:

    First, I would like to center my site title. I’m not sure what I’m missing, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I have been able to center the site description with no problem, but I have it currently restored back to its left alignment until I can get the the title centered.

    h1#site-title, h2#site-description {
    	text-align: center;
    }

    The first would be to remove the vertical divider from the last menu item (The Daily Post) so that empty spot on the right end disappears.

    #menu-custom-menu li#menu-item-1882 {
    	border-right: 0;
    	-webkit-box-shadow: none;
    	-moz-box-shadow: none;
    	box-shadow: none;
    }

    Second, I would like to change the white background on the submenu (children?) items under The Daily Post (Daily Prompt, Blogging 201) to the current background color of the main menu.

    #access ul.sub-menu {
    background: linear-gradient(-90deg, #4b4b4b, #151515);
    }

    And lastly, I would like to indent, to the right, those submenu items.

    #access ul.sub-menu li {
    	text-align: right;
    }

    Cheers!

    Ah, Grace, once again you have solved many of my first world problems, and the fictional orphans of the web that are now recipients of virtual lollipops thank you! As do I.

    Question about my navigation menu. While the solution offered about removing the vertical divider did indeed remove the right side line as I requested, what I actually would like to happen is to have the menu items spread evenly, regardless of which order I put them in, without that now non existent right side line. Is this possible within this theme?

    Hi there!

    Ah, I see what you mean! So I see that you added this CSS:

    /*spacing between menu items*/
    #access a {
    	padding: 1.3em;
    	line-height: .9;
    }

    Change the padding from 1.3em to 1.7em and that should even it out!
