Add topic to favorites
Hey I’m at travelgasms.com and am using the itheme2 theme. I already have most of my posts as “splitting content” since they’re fairly long, but I was wondering if there was a way to do excerpts (to make it more consistent looking) for each post.

I searched for it but it looks like it depends on the theme…./

If you mean display excerpts by default, no: very few themes do that. If you mean custom excerpts that aren’t the beginning of each post, again no: only some themes do that.

So the “splitting content” that I’m doing right now is my only option?

Yes and no. There’s also the nextpage tag:

Will it possible to show excerpt of any theme we want instead of showing the full text of the huge posts

@heisgoods I think it is not possible to show expert in any theme we want in wordpress.com blog . Yes it is possible to edit theme in the wordpress self-hosted blog . So you have to select the theme on your website which shows excerpt by default
