iTheme2 Fixed Menu covers entire screen

    I am using iTheme2 because it already had several of the elements I was looking for in place, including the ability for the menu to stick to the top of the screen as a user scrolls down. But when I check the box for the menu to be fixed, it starts and stays at the top of the screen where I want it to. The problem is, that even with only 2 menu items, the menu expands to cover the entire screen from top to bottom, so that it is overlaying all my content! I’ve tried unchecking that option in the theme control panel, and entering custom css…but it still happens, even with no plugins installed. I actually tried a couple of sticky menu plugins I’ve used before, with the same results. Any ideas on how to limit the height of the menu properly, so it not only sticks at the top, but stays only 100 pixels tall like it’s supposed to?

    This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    It sounds like you’re using the themify.me version of the iTheme2 theme. To get support for that version of the theme, the best place to start would be to ask the theme author for help using the contact link at http://themify.me/themes/itheme2

    You may also post in the volunteer-based WordPress.org support forums as timethief suggested. If you do that, please include a link to a post or page where they can see the problem happening live so they can get a better idea of how to help you.
