iTheme2 – reply/comment area css
-
Hi there. It’s me again. Hoping this wraps up the obsessing I’m doing about the appearance of my blog so I can get to, um, blogging maybe. :)
When replying/commenting to a post or even replying/commenting to a previous reply/comment, a dark bluish hued box presents itself (#0d1424) as part of the process and obscures all text behind it since I am using black font. Ideally, I would like to make that bluish hue transparent and that would be the end of it, but I suspect that is not possible, so the other option is to change the font color of all elements in that area to white so that it shows through. How can I make either of these possible. I would prefer to keep the black font if I could.
I’ll be in the attic searching for something of value to sacrifice to the internet gods as I await your response.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I changed the text color to grey and the visibility issue is gone, so yay! But I’m still curious about the bluish tinged box. Is that something built into the reply form code or is it possible to make that transparent?

One more addendum. I have found the blue hued box and it’s color rgb (13, 20, 36) in the inspect element, but I can’t figure out what the css code would be to change it to transparent.

Could you grab a screenshot of the bluish gray box you’re having trouble with? I want to make sure I’m looking at the right thing. :)

Thanks! It looks like your color scheme has changed since yesterday. Do you still need help changing the color of the reply box?

Yes, that silly blue box continues to haunt me. It’s the box that pops up when replying to a post or replying to a reply.
