iTheme2 slider not updating

  I’m trying to update my featured posts slider, but making the existing posts un-sticky and making some others sticky does absolutely nothing – even when checking in another browser. What am I missing?

  The old posts aren’t disappearing and I’m not able to add new ones – all the posts have featured images.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Update: making another post sticky pushes that post to the top of my articles list on the home page, regardless of date. It’s as if the ‘featured content’ slider is completely disconnected from everything else.

  Is this due to a theme update/change or something?

  Another update: found out that the iTheme2 theme has been retired. Looking for a similar theme that would fit with my site layout, but without much luck. Any tips there?
