ithemes2 post slider / picture carousel on static home page?

  Is it possible to put the post slider / picture carousel on a static home page using the ithemes2 theme?

  Right now my sample webpage features the post slider using the recent posts format. and this could cause havoc for a novice business

  If not, can anyone recommend a similar theme with a slider on the static home page?

  Hi there,

  This is not possible with iTheme2, but you might want to take a look at the Skylark theme, which contains a static “Showcase” page template that you can set as the front page. Skylark contains many other features that are helpful for business websites, which you can read about here.

  Very helpful! My only question about Skylark: Is there a way to change the blue background of the header?

  Hi there,

  Yes, it’s possible to change the blue background color with either Custom CSS or Custom Colors, both of which are part of the Custom Design upgrade.
