It's adding in "wordpress.com" in front of my links

  WP is adding my blog URL “imuagoingforward.wordpress.com” in front of links that I insert inside my post, so that when its clicked on there’s a 404 Error because of course that URL exist! Frustrating. E.g., if I link “cnn.com” WP makes the link as “imuagoingforward.wordpress.cnn.com.” Please help.

  When you include a link to something that isn’t internal to your own site, be sure to include the full path, including the http:// part.

  If you only link to something at www.somewebsite.com without the http:// , WordPress.com will automatically append your own domain to the beginning of the link, thinking it’s something on your own site.

  And if you don’t Delete the http:// that WP puts in automatically, then you get links formatted like http://http://whatever.com and WP.com converts them into that malformed link like you have noticed. Always scrape that http out if you’re pasting in a full link with the http included.
