It's been a week and my blavatar is not updating

Add topic to favorites
I’ve been trying to upload a blavatar for the last week on my new blog, but to no avail! How long and I supposed to wait for it to show up? When I uploaded a blavatar on my other blog, it showed up within minutes!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Which blog are you talking about? The blog linked to your username shows a “Lambda” as a Blavatar.

The blog I’m speaking of is midnightnotebook.wordpress.com. I guess the drop-down menu when you post asking you which blog you have a question about is also useless. I’ve been encountering a surprisingly large number of bugs in WordPress this last week…

What’s the file format you are using to upload your blavatar? GIF, PNG, JPG?

jpg. I’ve tried with various image sizes too, including the “best” 128×128 size.

Well after complaining here it seems someone checked some table in a database somewhere and now it’s showing up. I ask for help and they silently respond :)

No checking on my part, at least not that I know of. It sounds like this was just a browser cache issue.

Yeah, some browsers hang onto favicons (blavatars) forever and basically won’t update them unless you clear your browser cache and then restart the browser, and sometime (IE) you might even have to do that several times.
