It’s been over 30 days, but I still have a comment in the trash
-
Hi! I’ve got a comment in my trash that’s been there for over 30 days. Doesn’t WordPress.com empty the trash every 30 days?
I know I can empty it myself, but for mental health reasons I am choosing not to empty it, because what’s in the trash I ignore so I don’t even go in there. Can somebody empty the trash for me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Thank you for your message. Posts and Pages are automatically deleted from the trash after 30 days.
Comments need to be removed manually via the Trash section. -
I know, but it’s been over 30 days and I know that no more new comments have ended up there, but it’s still there and I can’t delete it for mental health reasons. Can you delete it for me?

Hello.
Modifying the content of your site goes beyond our scope of support.
You will need to remove the comment on your own. -
Ok, that’s very annoying. When I self hosted older blogs, comments in the trash were removed automatically after X amount of days.
From what I’ve read as well, even comments here on WordPress.com are supposed to be deleted after 30 days.
Thanks for the info then. I guess I have to delete it myself.
