It’s been two months since my domain expired. What do I do?

    There isn’t any information I can find that even tells me how to get it back at this point.

    Hi There,

    You can renew your domain name by going into My Purchases Section.

    If it has been two months already then either your domain is in Redemption Period (you can still have it back for a Redemption Fee of $80) or must have been Released. Once it is released, there may be a possibility that your domain has been bought by someone else.

    To avoid this in future, I would highly recommend you to enable Auto-Renewal toggle for your WordPress Site.

    I can help. First, let’s make sure we are both talking about the same domain. Is it madisonalder.com that you’re needing help with?

    The domain has expired and is currently in redemption. We can still try to recover it for you.

    In order to recover the domain we need help from our domain partner. They charge us $80 to do this. Before we move forward I have to confirm that you’ll agree to make that payment. It’s in addition to your annual domain renewal of $26, the total bill will be $106 and I’ll send that to you via email once I get confirmation.

    Typically, the entire process only takes 2-3 days.
