Hi there!
We’d love to help if we can. What’s the URL for the website in question?
If you can, please also offer any more information you can about what browser or app you’re using. Then we’ll see how we can help!
Best,

Thank you for providing the link. I can see very quickly that you are correct: this website is not working the way it should! Your homepage is outputting code and any pages I try to load result in an error.
The site looks like it’s been customized quite a bit. Do you have a way to work with the original developers, assuming it was not you?
Another common troubleshooting step has to do with plugins. Try disabling all of them and see how the site looks. If it helps things, toggle the plugins back on one at a time until it breaks again. Then, pursue how to fix that offending plugin. But that’s _if_ plugins are causing your issue. Another step to try is enabling a different theme to see what happens.
The bad news on my end is that working with you to get this site back to working order is out of this forum’s scope. Your issues have to do with a self-hosted WordPress.org product, hosted on Bluehost.com (they might be able to help you, too). These forums offer support for the WordPress.com suite of products. The distinction can be unclear, so you may read more about the differences if you’d like. Many of the settings of the self-hosted flavor fall out of our scope of support. You can find the WordPress.org-specific support you need at WordPress.org’s support site.
If your original developers are gone and you want WordPress hosting that won’t result in these sorts of errors, I’m happy to talk to you about migrating over to WordPress.com. Pushing products may not be what you want right now, I get that. I share because I gather you might be tired of dealing with this site’s issues from the post’s title, “It’s complicated.”
Good luck!

Hi
My developer setup the theme and I have been doing all of the designing. We have contacted the host several times they can’t or won’t do anything. I have turned on and off the plugins in succession nothing seems to change. I deleted the main page but it’s still popping up for some reason I can’t fathom. I just want a solution. -
I have considered getting a new theme but my developer is in Japan right now on vacation and I don’t want to do anything till he gets back
-
I wish I could help more. A WordPress self-install can get tough quickly.
You won’t lose data on your site by switching themes. If it happened to fix some of the issues, that would at least make the site functional. You can just switch back when your developer gets in a position where he can help. Here’s a walkthrough on safe theme-switching: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-properly-switch-wordpress-themes-on-your-site/
I’m also sorry Bluehost can’t help. I don’t know their reasons. Between this forum and them not helping, I would guess that’s frustrating to be passed off. Having said that, the WordPress.org forums are an appropriate place to seek help in your situation. I would recommend creating an account there and posting when you have the patience for it.
Best,
Jesse
