It’s not updating…

  I want my blog page to have more than three posts because the archive button on the nav bar doesn’t work correctly. I went to settings> reading and typed 11 in ‘blog page shows at most’. It’s been several days since I did that, and it still only shows three!
  If you click on archives, however, it DOES show 11 posts, but that’s it.

  Help!

  That’s the way the DePo theme works. It is not a standard style blog theme. On the main page, it only shows three posts. The archive page, is actually more like the main blog page on other themes which is why it now shows 11 posts.

  Well that stinks.

  *sigh*

  Thanks for telling me it’s not a glitch, because I would have been worried about trying to fix it.

  Do you know if there’s a way to take the archives off the nav bar?

  No, that is hard-coded into the theme.

  Perhaps you would be better off with a different (more standard) theme like cutline, or pressrow or the journalist. All of those are clean and well designed. DePo is an entirely different type of theme, a magazine style theme, and not necessarily for everyone, or every type of blog.

  Just a suggestion.
