iTunes – Podcast without image present

I created a podcast and followed the instructions provided. But no image appears in itunes and it’s been a week and 1/2. Could someone see if I’ve done something wrong?

Hi there – the image you’ve selected is extremely large at 1400 by 1400 pixels.
iTunes says:
A 300×300-pixel JPG is the recommended size and format
http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/creatorfaq.html
Please try using an image at the size they specify and see if it helps.

I changed it to that size because it had that recommendation on the Apple site. Ill try the 300 x 300 when i get home and see if it works.

I gave it a day and a half. I checked iTunes this morning and no image visable. I have reduced the size like you said and renamed the file.

No, I use Audacity to record and generate the mp3 for my podcast. I use Feedburner to create the feed to iTunes. Do you think the file has something to do with it? I know fo the mp3 file I have an image placed into it..

Have you set your podcast image in Feedburner with Feedburner’s “Feed Image Burner” tool – or in some other way?

I’ve used the image burner. I guess it will time to get updated. I’ll let you know in 24hrs if I see anything
