I've added a caption to the Featured Image on my blog, but it doesn't show up.

  Hey there, it looks like

  captions don’t always appear with featured images. They’re often used as a design element where a caption may look a bit weird. But if you insert that same image as a regular image in a post, its caption will appear there.

  Thanks for finding that. That’s disappointing. I need the featured image the way it’s working, just want to credit the artist. I’ve got the credit at the bottom of my post but a caption would be best.

  But that’s the most common practice – crediting the artist/photographer(s) at the bottom of the post for the featured image. If it is a normal image on your post, you could add credits to the caption but our case is the featured image and nothing can be done about it.
