I’ve adjusted the footer to display the WP logo, however it still won’t update

  The footer still displays the default credit, although I’ve adjusted the setting. What do you suggest? Is this a theme error?

  Hi there,

  Since you have a “Block Theme” and can use the Site Editor, you can remove this by editing your footer directly here: https://joelnanderson.wordpress.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php

  To show you how it’s done I have recorded a video, you can see it at this link.

  To clarify, the setting you are using works on our older “classic themes” but with the newer themes you can instead edit the footer as you wish, as shown in the video I shared.
