I’ve already named my free site and just need to write my first post

However, when I click ‘Write’ I get taken back to step one where I have to create one all over again. After lengthy conversations with an online representative, I finally got how to create a free site and now I’m going around in circles. I just want to write my first post. The title is there and I don’t want another site. Please tell me how to bypass this and when I click on ‘Write’ I can actually write my blog posts. Thank you in advance

What is the URL of your site?

I can’t find it. But my profile is filled out and I had a hard time trying to get a free account. When I did, then there was no option to work on this site. If I try to start one again, I cannot get to a free account—they want a domain name and that’s not free. I’m just very confused by this whole situation.

  • Hi @myprivateinsanityismine,

there are no sites under the account you’re writing us from so that’s why you’re prompt to create your site. And yes, you can create a free site here, however, I think it’s best to get access to the one you’ve already created.
If you don’t remember the address of that blog it’s a bit difficult for us to point you in the right direction.
Could it be that you have another WordPress.com account, created with a different email address?
Have a look at your inbox and find the email we sent you after you created your account, any useful info there?
