I’ve been asked to delete a site I created years ago…

    I can’t see how to remove it!! I may have set it up using an email I created specifically for the site, but I no longer remember. Help!

    Hello there,

    The site can only be deleted by the site administrator.

    If you don’t remember the login information for this site, you would need to go through the account recovery process to prove ownership of the site.

    Once you get access, click on Settings on your WordPress.com site’s settings page. Scroll to the bottom of the General tab and click Delete your site permanently. 

    You must be logged in under the same username. Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use it.
