  it looks like an outdated version of easy wp sept may have allowed my site to become hacked. I got an email from jetpack asking me to update it and low and behold the website won’t allow me to do so. it gives me an error message. now my site goes to something else.

  Sounds like you actually need help for a WordPress powered site, not a site hosted at WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ for any support on managing your site. You might also get help from Namecheap, if they support Easy WP.
