Do you mean you want people to be able to find your posts in the reader when they search using one of your tags?
If that’s the case I do see posts from you under the ukulele tag (see below).

We have formed a new ukulele group and we want people to be able to find us when they search the Internet. I put what I thought was tags in such as; ukulele and Fort myers but when I do a search on the Internet our site doesn’t show up in the results.

I’m afraid the process for getting your content listed in search engines is more complicated than just adding tags. The article linked below explains both some technical details of how search engines connect to WordPress.com sites as well as includes some links to some good beginner SEO articles.

In the meantime, if you want to make sure Fort Myers ukulele players know about your group you might consider adding your events to meetup.com or local calendars where artists in your area already look to get connected.
