i've created a page but i can't see it on my site
-
My pages aren’t visible on my site, but their showing as published under admin.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Did you try putting them on the menu or sticking them to the front page when your creating a page?
Sorry if i cannot provide much help as i’m using a completely different theme.
-
Also when you’re customizing the theme there may be options to stick the page(s) to the front page.

@alreadythis
If I click the menu button on your site I see three pages: About, Contact and Writing. Is that what you’re looking for? You need to click the Menu and Widgets button at the top of your page to see them. -
@postizco
While it’s always great when someone new decides to help out in the forums, if you’re not willing to take the time to research the correct answer and give accurate advice, rather leave the threads for those of us who are.It is not possible to “stick the page(s) to the front page”. Only posts can be made sticky. You can set a single page as the front page, but then the front page will no longer display posts.
Pages automatically appear in the menu unless you have a custom menu set up.
And not having the same theme is irrelevant here as the basics on how menus and pages work are identical no matter the theme. The only way themes differ in this regard is how they display the menu.

Thanks for replying!
I can now see the pages you mentioned, is there a way to not have them hidden like that? Or do I need to change themes?Also I’m having difficulty because the landing page isn’t listed under my pages, so I can’t edit and use it! Any ideas?

If you have the Premium upgrade ($99 a year) you can use CSS to permanently show the menu, but without the upgrade that’s how your theme is designed. If you prefer an always-visible menu you’ll need to pick a theme that works that way.
Also I’m having difficulty because the landing page isn’t listed under my pages, so I can’t edit and use it! Any ideas?
The default home page shows your blog feed, i.e. all your posts with the most recent post at the top. You need to go to Posts ->Add New and create a new post. Once you publish that, it will automatically appear on the home page, but you can’t edit the home page directly.
As I mentioned above, you can also have a static page, e.g. a Welcome page as your landing page. In that case you’ll need to create the page first if you don’t want one of our existing pages, and then set that as your home page under Settings ->Reading or via the front page settings in the Customizer. Complete instructions to do that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

I did it! Thank you so much. One last thing, is there a way to remove the word ‘edit’ which appears under the text on my landing page? And is there no way to centre that text?
-
I’m very glad I could help.
Regarding the edit link, only you can see that. If you don’t believe me, log out and view your own site. You won’t see it. You’ll only see it on your own site and only while logged in. It’s there for your convenience, so you can easily edit posts directly from the front page.
You could center it using CSS, if you have that upgrade, but it doesn’t really matter as visitors can’t see it anyway.

I thought about deleting the title, and instead writing it in the text box. but the text box doesnt give you any text formatting options other than bold & Italic!
-
To which text box are you referring? Are you speaking of the editor? There several formatting options available in the editor. See: https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/
Always give your posts and pages titles, as that determines the URL and the title is also what appears in the menu. Leaving out the title makes things more complicated than needed.
-
I mean the text on the page, maybe it’s called the title box. If you look it’s aligned left, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to format it.
-
Where it says Home Sweet Home? That is the page title. The way it displays is determined by the theme. You can’t format the page title, but you can change the design using CSS if you have the upgrade, as I mentioned earlier.
