I've deleted a blog with a URL I wanted to use again!!
-
I had two blogs under my account; one had no posts and the other had. I wanted to re-name the blog with the posts the url name I used for the other one but it was taken (of course), so I deleted that blog – but I didnt know you couldnt recycle URLS!!
Is there any way I can retrieve the URL? Since I was the author…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No you cannot register any deleted blog URL. Deleting any .wordpress.com blog URL is not easily done and what you ask to do is not possible. One has to ignore at least three warnings stating that deletion is permanent and irreversible and then click a verification link in an email to delete a blog. That’s because deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

There are three warnings that deletion is permanent and irreversible, including one in your email confirmation. If you skipped past all of those thinking “oh, it doesn’t really mean permanent and irreversible” well, you get to pick a new URL.
