  soulmadewa isn’t the account that owns https://girlplusworld.wordpress.com/. You will need to log into the account connected with the site in order to delete it.

  Hi

  My problem is I deleted the account associated with that site. I went through the effort of deleting the site (girlplusworld) before deleting the account. However, upon checking two days later, it appears the site is still active.

  The associated username for that account (now deleted is akismetuser439722673.

  I’ve created this whole new account for the purpose of trying to get support to delete that site.

  The account which owns girlplusworld.wordpress.com also hasn’t been closed, and the username you quoted was never associated with it.

  We have some options for you to gain access to the account which owns the site at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
