I've disabled "Comment Likes" but people still able to "like" comments
-
I went to Dashboard/Settings/Sharing and unchecked the box for Comment Likes, in order to disable them. I saved the settings.
However, I’m still getting notifications that people are liking comments on my blog. What am I missing? I really don’t want that to be an option.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Disabling like buttons on comments and on posts on the blog does not disable them in the Reader. The same can be said about reblog buttons too.

Oh, bless your heart, TT! I don’t like the answer you gave me, but I surely do like that you popped up with an answer so quickly, so I can quit fussing about it.
Good to see you out and about, too. I hope you’re feeling terrific!

NOTE: Logged in visitors using a mobile can read the full post and use all the buttons I commented about above whether or not they are disabled, without creating a page view stat. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpresscom-reader-show-full-text?replies=31#post-1373606

I don’t the answer either (understatement). We have zero control over who follows our blogs and zero control over disabling the functions above. Thanks for the well wishes. Every day I’m alive is a good one, regardless of how well I feel. :)
