I’ve edited the comment, but can I move it?

    I think it’s great that we can edit comments. Not that I would, but one could edit a comment like “you’re a know-nothing!” to “thanks for the info!”

    Anyway, I’m more likely to correct the spelling of my name, or create a hyperlink where a commenter posted a URL. In a number of cases though, a commenter has posted his comment to an old post, and not one that would be the most appropriate for his comment (like “check out this new artist” commented to one of my not-newest posts). Can a comment be moved?

    No.
    You would need to make a comment on the post you want it on, then edit that to have the other comment contents.
