I've lost access to my site
-
My site is harlechjoe.wordpress.com where my bicycle stories are held. This afternoon I couldn’t access my site and followed a link that required my email address. In doing so I accidentally created a new account that I don’t want. How do I get into my original account
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
That site belongs to the username, harlechjoe, and that account uses a completely different email address from the one you used to create this account. The bessiestrave1s account you’re using to post here is 4 years old, by the way, so it looks like you just reset the password of an old account you’ve forgotten about. You didn’t create a new account.
Log out of WordPress.com and clear your browser cache and cookies. The go to the Lost Password form and try resetting your password using the harlechjoe username. That will send a password reset link to the correct email address for that account.
In case you don’t have access any more to the email address you used for that account, you can find our other account recovery options here:

I had a ‘webmaster’ rebuild my site, he ripped me off and I can no longer access the admin part. I have no knowledge of WP and have a friend that is going to help me but,,,, I can’t access the admin part of the site. I am in a rush as I am paying for two hosting sites. bulgewear is the name of my site… sorry if I offend anyone.

Please don’t hijack threads created by other users. It’s also impossible for us to help you without knowing what site you’re speaking about. The word “bulgewear” is meaningless. We need the exact URL of the site in question.
In any case, as you refer to paying for hosting, it sounds like your site is not hosted with us, but was built using the open source WordPress.org software. We have no control over sites built using that software. You’ll need to contact whichever domain provider and hosting provider your developer used to set up that site to regain control over it.

I obviously don’t know how to post in order to get help… I apologize. I own Hillcrestswimwear.com but was having the site rebuilt with the name bulgewear.com. They were supposed to be linked together. I have a brain injury and I am not good at explaining things… sorry. I had a ‘webmaster’ who rebuilt the bulgewear.com site with the same basic info as hillcrestswimwear.com and he took my money and never completed it. I used to be able to go into admin and update my fabrics, etc. Bulgewear.com/wp has not been ‘live’ yet as there was more that needed to be done. It seems there are missing categories in the admin part of the site… ‘posts’ is there but not the other info I saw before.
Again, I am sorry I am not more knowledgeable… Thanks for your reply.Snow

The domain, Hillcrestswimwear.com, is registered with GoDaddy.com, and currently pointed at Mediatemple.net’s servers, so you need to contact those companies to gain access to that site.
bulgewear.com is both registered and hosted by GoDaddy.com.
We have no control over either of those sites, so we’re not able to help you in this forum.
